
Applications are NOW OPEN for this exciting and innovative program which provides high quality research training to ‘early career’ researchers in Asia who want to enhance their research skills and build a career in the prevention and management of Non-Communicable Diseases in the Asia region.
Monash University Australia and its institutional partners in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and the USA have a received a US NIH Millennium Promise Award to support the development of an Asian Non-Communicable Disease Research Network over five years. The aim is to build a network of researchers and research institutions across Asia working towards combating the growing epidemic of chronic disease.

They will be holding three web conference briefing sessions for potential applicants to hear more about the program from the Program Directors and clarify the application process. The web conferences will be on the following dates:
Friday 4th November 2011 at 4pm AUS eastern daylight time
Friday 11th November 2011 at 4pm AUS eastern daylight time
Tuesday 22nd November 2011 at 4pm AUS eastern daylight time

In order to participate in the web conference you require access to a computer and ideally a headset with a microphone. You do not require a web cam. Further details on how to join the web conference will be sent once you have registered.
